Front Page Story A warm handshake between APA and SPBA officials to mark the preliminary agreement The Singapore Asia Powerboat Championship was jointly organised by the Asia Powerboat Association (APA) and the Singapore Power Boat Association (SPBA). Through the event, the organisers aimed to bring powerboat racing back to Singapore. The last powerboat race that happened locally was held in 2011. Following the successful three-day championship, APA signed a preliminary agreement with SPBA to bring APA’s race training to Singapore. Both associations hope that through the partnership, a Singapore- based racer will be ready to compete in the next Singapore Asia Powerboat Championship.
