Nothard said he could see
this was unit whose members
know they have a job to do.
He said the deployment
was drawn predominately
from 17CS Bde, including
10FSB in Townsville, but
also from Australian Army
units across the country.

families and supporting friends
of those on parade, saying
that although they had needed
their support during the pre-
deployment training, they
would need that support even
more while they were away.
He said the families would,
in turn, be supported
by Army while their
loved ones were away.
