T
HE 3CSSB Riverway dog walk,
led by Battalion mascot LCPL
Toby Tebiass, was a great success,
raising more than $1500 for charity.
Toby ordered PTE Andrew Phillips
to do most of the work organising
the activity in which each of the
Battalion’s sub-units participated in
turn across four days last month.

Andrew said, although it was a
good foundation on which to build in
future years, it was a tentative start.
Roughly 50 people and their dogs
turned out each morning for the 5km
walk alongside representatives of one
of the charities - Hounds4Healing.
The Battalion’s nominated
charity - the Salvation Army -
was the other benefi ciary.
