The Ottumwa Railway and Light Company , seen here at the corner of East Second and Market streets in 1920 . The business operated the city ’ s street car lines , and the building still stands , though the tower is long gone .
Soul Sleepers Church
Soul Sleepers Church , located at 824 Franklin Street , used to be the home of the Plymouth Brethren Church congregation , pictured here circa 1910 . The southern half of the building is Pella ’ s oldest remaining church building , with a northern wing added in the 1970s . The church is now the home of Pella Books .
