Mirador Ultimate Perfection, “Dove”, was the true embodiment
of the Australian Quarter Horse, great temperament, correct
conformation and movement. She was the highest point
winning AQHA Category 1 horse in the history of the AQHA,
winning a total of 3552 points.
As an open competitor Dove was awarded several ROM’s,
Superior, Bronze, Silver and Gold Centuries in Halter, HUS,
Western Pleasure and Trail. Throughout her whole career
Dove was trained and exhibited by her Amateur Owner and
various youth, a clear indication of her great Quarter Horse
temperament and trainability.
Amateur Awards included several ROM’s, Superior, Bronze,
Silver and Gold Centuries in Showmanship at Halter, HUS, Hunt
Seat Equitation, Western Pleasure, Western Horsemanship,
Trail, Reining and Versatility.
Rosie trusted Dove’s impeccable temperament to assist the
likes of Lisa Lorimer, Emma Kurz and Emma Taggart in their
endeavours to become selected for YWC teams. She later went
on to become a family mount, with Rosie and sons, Michael
and Brendan all showing her at shows with great success.
As a Youth horse Dove was awarded several ROM’s and two
Superior Centuries in Halter, HUS, Hunt Seat Equitation,
Western Pleasure and Trail.
Dove was not only a regular winner and placegetter at local
“A” and “AA” shows, she also won many points at State and
National Championships.

Mirador Ultimate Perfection was not just a “western horse”,
but competed successfully in hack, sporting and dressage.
She was also noted for carrying the flag for Quarter Horses
at Agricultural Shows, particularly the Brisbane Royal Show.
Success was obtained at Brisbane Royal in 1995, 1996, 1998,
1999 and in 2000 at the Royal National Ag. and Ind. Assoc. of
Queensland.
Mirador Ultimate Perfection passed her performance ability
onto her progeny. TWC Tashies Perfection (by Tashmere
imp.) won 202.5 points and was awarded four ROM’s and one
Superior award. TWC Kids Ultimategirl (by Kid Cross imp.) was
awarded 34 points.
