Reflect on the challenges While celebrating our wins is vital , we also need to reflect back on the challenges we ’ ve faced - because like it or not , each obstacle is always a lesson in disguise . This year , I encountered my fair share of hurdles , from mental health lows to balancing work and personal life . Each challenge taught me resilience and adaptability , reminding me that growth often comes from the toughest moments ( I wish it wasn ’ t the case , but it ’ s very true !). So take a moment to think about the challenges you faced this year . What did they teach you ? What could you have done differently ? How can you use these lessons to move forward into the new year ?
Set your intentions My favourite part of reflecting on the past year is setting my goals and intentions for the year ahead . It ’ s exciting to think about all the opportunities and possibilities ! I always write down my goals ( and I know a few people who love a good vision board ) to create a tangible reminder that keeps me inspired and on track . I don ’ t limit myself - I ’ ve set goals ranging from ‘ Learn how to use Excel ’ for business accounting to ‘ Get published in a magazine ’.
These clear intentions help me stay focused and motivated to propel me forward . I encourage you to write down your top five goals for the year ahead - big , small , or even just fun dreams you ’ d love to make happen . Don ’ t worry about making them perfect or comparing them to anyone else - these goals are just for you ! Put them somewhere you can see them and let them be the source of inspiration on the tough days and the reason to celebrate each little win along the way .
Here ’ s to another year of growth , creativity and amazing cakes !
