THROUGH NOV . 1 : Enjoy thousands of intricately carved pumpkins as you immerse in the sights and sounds of the Halloween season from the comfort of your own vehicle . This year ’ s pumpkin extravaganza is a drive-through experience . The trail will wind from the zoo ’ s parking lot into the admissions plaza and through a portion of the zoo . Patrons will view pumpkins from trees , on the side of the trail and just about everywhere the eye can see . Large commercial or oversized vehicles , motorcycles , open side vehicles and recreational devices including bicycles , scooters and skateboards are not permitted .
