Tree Lighting Ceremony
NOV . 28 : Ignite the holiday spirit at Ocean House ’ s annual tree lighting ceremony and Christmas Village . Children will help light the outdoor Christmas tree and Santa Claus will make his big arrival on a fire truck . Seasonal snacks , a cash bar and nonalcoholic beverages will be available . Children will have the opportunity to visit and take photos with Santa , too . While enjoying carols and complimentary cookies , hot chocolate and apple cider , get your holiday shopping done early in the Christmas Village , which features holiday products from local purveyors . The Christmas Village opens at 4 p . m . and the tree lighting ceremony begins at 5 p . m . followed by fireworks . Bring an unwrapped gift for the holiday toy drive . 4 – 7 p . m . Free .
