JORDAN MCINTOSH IN CONCERT
Friday evening, Jordan McIntosh put on a country music show at Centennial Theater on the Bishops University campus. It was a show to help raise money for the 1st Lennoxville Scouts for their summer 2017 trip to Eastern Canada to attend the Scout Jamboree.
A while back the Lennoxville community got introduced to McIntosh when he was the opening act for Nashville Music star Brett Kissel. Firehouse Productions, which is a Sherbrookebased production company, was so impressed with him they invited him back for a show.
The show kicked off on Friday night with Delaney Grant, 18 years old. She studied music at Bishops University and is now in Nashville starting up her music career. Delaney hit the Centennial Theater stage and got the show started off on the right foot with her original songs. Then Jordan McIntosh burst onto the stage like only he can do, and the crowd went wild. He put on a very high-energy show from start to finish that kept all dancing in their seats and tapping their fingers throughout the entire show.
This was all organized by Firehouse Productions from Sherbrooke, which is mainly made up of Sherbrooke Firefighters( hence the name). This energetic show finished after 10 p. m.
Jordan James McIntosh was born Dec. 20, 1995, in Carlton Place, Ontario, near Ottawa. He started playing both country and pop music at a very young age and is now a true singer-songwriter. Jordan won the“ Rising Star” music award in 2014. In 2015 he was nominated for the Canadian Country Music Award This young country musician is certainly heading to the top with his own style of music. At only 20 years old, he has a bright future ahead for sure.
