Secretary ’ s Report : Leslie Mason Motion made by Kevin Berger , seconded by Julie Gintner to approve the August 9th , 2023 , Board Meeting Minutes . Motion carried unanimously .
Treasurer ’ s Report : Arlene Bayer

Balance Sheet and Income Statement was presented , YTD Net Income ( Loss ) is $ 15,556.47 and LYTD Net Income ( Loss ) was ($ 62,895.49 ). Motion made by Ann Goebel , seconded by Amber Duncanson , to accept the Treasurer ’ s Report subject to audit from August 31st , 2023 . Motion carried unanimously .
Correspondence : Liz Bauer Late member additions included Hay Creek Valley Saddle Club for $ 10 , Plainview Elgin for $ 10 , Mid-State North Star for $ 10 , Sunset Saddle Club for $ 50 , Sky Hi-Riders for $ 20 , Ridesport Saddle Club for $ 10 , Splits and Spurs for $ 10 , Scandia Riders for $ 10 , Pioneer Saddle Club for $ 20 , Minnesota Quarter Horse Assn , Inc . for $ 20 , and Northwest Saddle Club for $ 60 . Late membership additions for this month totals $ 230 .
Committee Reports :
Championship Horse Show : James Duenow It has been a very busy month . Check cut for 193,040.18 stalls and electrical , office charges and entry fees . Current Gross is $ 219,000 , up gross of $ 34,000 from 2022 at this point . 3,200 entries last year , now 3973 entries . Current entries are up approximately 90 horses from 2022 . A Couple hundred entries are in some of the jackpots and side-pots . Sold out on electric for games and full show options . Pre-champ show meeting completed , things are looking good . Vendors are about full . Stalls have been re-lettered / re-numbered based on location in barn . There is still a ton of work to be done , will always take more help . Arlene will pick up plastic and zip ties for split arena .
