BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING September 3, 2025 7 PM American Legion, Chaska, MN MINUTES
Board Members Present: Lynn-Ellen St. Martin, James Duenow, Lori Taylor, Rachel Duenow, Paul Hansen, Julia Northwick, Julie Gintner, Amber Duncanson, Karson Duncanson, Dustin Heck, Keith Sather
Members Absent: none

Meeting was called to order by Lynn-Ellen St. Martin at 7:00 PM Public Open Comment: None Secretary’ s Report: Liz Bauer
It was noted that board member James Duenow was listed as both present and absent in the August 6 th, Board meeting minutes. Although James was absent, he called in to report for Champ show committee.
Motion made by Dustin Heck, seconded by Lori Taylor to approve the August 6 th, 2025 Board Meeting Minutes, with the correction to attendance. Motion carried unanimously.
Treasurer’ s Report: Arlene Bayer
As of August 31, 2025 Checking $ 59,714.34 CD’ s-Minnco CU $ 71,126.88

Balance Sheet and Income Statement was presented, YTD Net Income( Loss) is($ 33,176.89) and LYTD Net Income( Loss) was $ 24,306.87.
Motion made by James Duenow, seconded by Paul Hansen, to approve the August 31st, 2025, treasurer’ s report subject to audit. Motion carried unanimously.
Correspondence: 36 late memberships have been received since August 6 th, 2025, totaling $ 270 in late member fees. The question was presented on whether clubs who take a leave of absence from WSCA are required to pay the additional $ 5 membership fee when they return. All board members were in agreeance that if a club lets their membership“ lapse” by taken a year or more off, they should be required to pay the additional $ 5.
Committee Reports: Awards Banquet: Julia Northwick
The banquet RSVP will be posted in the September issue of the spotlight as well as the Champ show program. After that, it will be posted on the website as well. Again this year, the foundation will host a silent auction to benefit the foundation. If anyone has any items for either the auction or for door prizes, please connect with Julia.
