Ribbons and plates for trophies have arrived . SWAG items for exhibitor bags have arrived . Working on lists for Tim for stalling assignments and lists for Jan for parking . Materials have been sent out to 1 more potential applicant . Guest judge will finish their application packet with 1 more show this coming weekend . Arena assignments have been sent out to Judges working Champ Show . The Arena Conditions statement has been forwarded to an attorney to check out any liability concerns . The committee is looking into creating an abbreviated judge application process , that would be for judges who have existing judge card with other reputable associations . The goal of this fast-track process would be to remove some of the load from existing WSCA judges , add to the pool of judges for remote areas and potentially draw in more and different exhibitors . All of this has the potential to create more revenue for WSCA clubs .
A motion was made by Ann Goebel , seconded by Julia Northwick , to allow Lynn-Ellen and the judges committee to pursue a fast-track WSCA judge application process for judges with certain judge cards in other reputable associations . Motion carried unanimously .
The judge ’ s committee is recommending that the WSCA judges filing fee be increase to $ 100 .
