You cannot make the world a better place by being a curmudgeon. The purpose of any goal is to provide you with more happiness. If it ain’t leading you down that road, you are going after the wrong target. Happiness is not about where we are, it is about where we are heading. Like a gift from God, while I was reading on Tuesday night of this week, I happened to come to one of the most profound chapters that I have ever read. I was underlining, making notes and super juiced about the simplicity of what I was reading. What book was I reading? It was the book of the month, How to Fail at Almost Anything and Still Win Big by Scott Adams. It connected with me. use it is. It connected because of how simple and easy to I’ll highlight a few of things and add my two cents where I think it’ll help. Adams has come up with a formula for happiness. The first of the 8 things is to eat right. Eating right, check that, eating anything at all, will affect your biochemical and hormonal environment. When it comes to food, don’t deprive yourself by calorie counting, it don’t work and it will make you less happy. Figure out which foods give you the most juice and eat as much of them as you want. Next up is to exercise. I don’t think I need to say too much about this except that I do believe it is much more beneficial to your happiness when done in the morning. Our brain is the best pharmacy on earth, why not get a boost of feel good hormones, a cocktail if you will, first thing in the morning? That way, you will feel ‘high’
