Denver Apartment Finders Hosts 7th Annual Coat Drive for the Homeless

Denver Apartment Finders and Faith in Denver held its 7th Annual Winter Gear & Coat Drive from November 3rd – December 5th, which benefits those experiencing homelessness in Denver.
Each winter, they join forces with apartment community partners and their residents & employees to collect new and gently used winter gear and coats.
They target those that are living on the streets and in homeless shelters that need the most help and have nothing, and collect as many winter hats, gloves, scarves, sweaters, pants, coats, jackets, blankets, socks and shoes and anything in good and wearable condition. " It ' s a lovely way to give back to our city’ s most vulnerable and our way of planting seeds of love, hope, joy, peace, light,
empathy and compassion to those who have been forgotten and looked down upon," said Brian Sanchez, who ' s organizations run the drive.
Their big clothing distribution & food service event is on Saturday December 6th at 12:00 PM at Denver Community Church in Uptown.

At last month ' s Coffee with the Lawyers webinar( a series that began in 2020 at the start of the pandemic) participants weighed in on the classic fall coffee flavor, Pumpkin Spice.
While the majority seems to enjoy this flavor of coffee, not everyone is sold. One attendee noted: " Pumpkin seasoning is an abomination. OK. That might be a strong stance. Merely abhorrent..."
