AAMD has partnered with a local community partner, El Centro De Los Trabajadores, to help funnel in new talent to the industry. El Centro is committed to developing the leadership potential of Denver’ s immigrant
workforce through institutional support and collaborations with community partners. Through this partnership, the Maintenance Apprenticeship Program ' s Fall session graduated its first ever Spanish-speaking class. This session
was incredibly successful by utilizing translators at the Friday classes and placing students at properties with Spanish-speaking staff, and eight of the students received permanent job offers!
