◆ My Go-to Morning Drink : Iced shaken brown sugar oat milk expresso
◆ How My Leadership Style Has Evolved : My leadership style has evolved from a hands-on , task-focused approach to a more strategic , people-centered one . Having lived in government subsidized housing growing up , to living in government subsidized housing with my family as an adult , and then working and living at a government subsidized property as an onsite ground ' s person , I gained a deep understanding of the day-to-day challenges residents who live at these properties face as well as the challenges those working in property management had to navigate , which fostered a grounded , empathetic leadership style .
◆ Title of My Autobiography : Building Communities : A Life in Property and Purpose
◆ Eliminate From My Day-To-Day Routine : I would eliminate my commute to and from the office . This would give back time I could use spending time with my family and practicing self-care .
◆ Most Memorable Compliment I ' ve Received : I was once told that I was the only person within a company to seem like I truly cared for the residents at my property . This hit home because it helped me change the culture in the building I was managing at the time .
◆ My Go-To Way to Relax After a Stressful Day : Turn on loud music for the drive home and sing like no one is listening
◆ Goal I ' m Working Toward : I am currently working towards obtaining my CPM credential through IREM
◆ Small Habit or Daily Ritual That Brings Me Joy : Saying good morning to my team of amazing property managers .
