The Club is offering dinner service four nights a week beginning in November , so please take advantage of all the dining opportunities . A monthly Club a la carte dining menu will be offered all four evenings , with new dining concepts available each night to keep dining unique and interesting .
I wish for each and every one of you a healthy and happy season .

GOLF COURSE UPDATE

As we now move into the cooler months and farther away from the summer growing season , the golf course is finally approaching its best conditioning of the year . Although we are still working hard to push growth in a few key areas , I feel our overall turf quality is in excellent shape . In addition to turf quality , shrub trimming and pinestraw applications were completed during October , leaving a very nice overall appearance of the course and its surroundings . I have to say that for the first time since my tenure began at The Colony in early 2016 , I truly feel excited with our overall course conditions . With that said , we will always continue to improve in all facets of course conditioning moving forward .
With the cooler weather slowly approaching , we will also experience slower turf growth and recovery from foot and cart traffic . With this in mind , please follow the cart c signage when entering and exiting the fairways and limit cart traffic in the higher r rough areas a .
This can be easily accomplished by adhering to a strict 90 degree protocol ocol and keeping carts either on the pathway or in the fairway height of f cut , unless entering or exiting the fairway . This will ensure we are all doing our part to keep our rough consistent and beautiful throughout the season . For fairway ay divots and ball marks , a good rule of thumb to follow is for everyone to try and always fill one or two additional divots with sand , or repair one or two additional ball marks on the greens . By following this protocol , we will w all undoubtedly benefit . Thank you for your continued support
