Volunteer Spotlight: Corey Harris & Moose

Four-year-old Moose is a Great Dane / Great Pyrenees and has been providing pet therapy to residents at the Home for the past year. Corey Harris, Moose’ s human, says the pup is curious, empathetic, and loving.“ He enjoys giving hugs when he leans on you.”
The pair has made quite the impression on us at the Home.“ I hear and feel the excitement as we enter the room,” said Corey.“ It’ s truly special to witness the love and joy that Moose and the youth share with each other.”
Grilling with Gratitude
Volunteers and community partners visited the Home for a celebratory dinner.
From sorting donations to reading with residents, the kindness of our volunteers leaves a lasting impression on those we serve. This special cookout was our small way of saying thank you for all their hard work.
