Notes from Home Spring 2017 | Seite 2

From the CEO

Friends,
Wow! I am so encouraged and inspired by our community’ s strong support during the holidays. Our number of volunteers increased, 470 children’ s holiday wish lists were fulfilled through our Holiday Magic program and the tremendous financial generosity we saw was astounding! We are thrilled to share with you how your support continues to help us throughout the year.
In this issue, please take note of the services provided by Open Arms Children’ s Health, our integrated pediatric healthcare office, with immediate openings for dental, medical and outpatient therapies – and new additional hours for psychiatry. Learn about our synergy with Jefferson County Public Schools through our on-campus school, Weinberg Academy. Sarah Felty tells us about the countless hours she spends to make a difference and helps make Christmas possible for our kids by raising money baking and selling more than 2,000 cupcakes.
If you haven’ t seen it yet, be sure to visit our newly redesigned web site at homeoftheinnocents. org. It provides an easier user experience and simplifies information that you need. We’ re very proud of it and we hope you appreciate it as well.
We’ re looking forward to many activities and events this year, including our upcoming Heroes for the Home fundraising breakfast in early June. Look for details soon. As always, thanks for everything you do to support our organization.
Sincerely,
Paul W. Robinson
