From the CEO
Friends,
I can hardly believe that summer has come to an end and we are quickly moving towards the
holidays. In July, I was excited to be a part of our first Back to School Bash for the patients of
Open Arms Children’s Health and our community, along with preparing our residents to get
back into their routine for the new school year. Before we know it, the holidays will be here
and our teams are already busy preparing for the fun of the season.
We’ve had a few big changes recently, including the purchase of Little Ears Hearing Center,
which you can read more about in Program Spotlight. Their staff hit the ground running,
turning on a young patient’s cochlear implants the first week they were here. Seeing his success right out of the gate
is inspirational to everyone and drives all of us to continue our hard work and dedication to our mission.
Our partnership with Brendon’s Duffels of Hope has given us an easier way to supply our residents and families with
essentials that they may not have otherwise. Distributing Duffels of Hope explains the project and how you can help
us make a difference for the recipients.
As you will read about in Hometown Help, we continue to be thankful for the amazing volunteer groups that are on
campus every week to give their time and talents to help us improve the care our kids receive. The canvases made
by Team Mills were a wonderful addition to each of the cottages that I know are impactful reminders to our kids
each day.
Thank you for your unwavering support of the Home and the children we serve. Your dedication to our organization
is astounding; we continue to grow and succeed because of you!
Sincerely,
Paul W. Robinson
