Get to know your Norwex Leaders Congratulations to Tania Ford on her promotion in September to Senior Executive Sales Leader I originally joined Norwex in February 2014 as a shopper, so I could purchase the laundry detergent at wholesale prices. Then in February 2016 my friend asked me to do a party for her, and I decided to dip my toe in and give it a go. What I didn’t know was this would be the beginning of an amazing journey with Norwex. Before long I became a ‘Party Girl’, but I had no intentions of ever going to training or recruiting. But people wanted to join me and I promoted to Team Coordinator in July 2016. By this stage I realised the importance of training and saw the huge potential in building a Team. Then in October 2016 I promoted to Sales Leader and earned an all expenses paid trip to Uluru for Leadership Conference in 2017. My Team continued to steadily grow and after hearing Zelia talk at National Conference in 2017 about how her Team promoted, I came home with a fire in my belly! In September our Team planned a promotion month for October. We had several promotions within the Team and we promoted to ESL. We decided in about mid July 2018 to give promoting to Red Jacket a go, after much encouragement from the lovely Tracey Wilson. To be honest, I was not sure if we had the numbers, and in my mind had thought maybe we would give it a go in October. I was playing it safe, but Tracey was pushing me out of my comfort zone. My motto became ‘If your dreams don’t scare you, they aren’t big enough’. Tracey had total faith in us and August had a lot going on that would potentially help. So we set our Team some challenges and had giveaways for engagement. And having Join for Free for the first 2 weeks definitely helped! Since the beginning of July our Team has nearly tripled in size. There is definitely lots of excitement within the Team as goals have been reached and incentives earned. We have some fantastic Leaders who have promoted in the last couple of months - 4 Team Coordinators and 2 Sales Leaders. We are all very passionate about sharing the gift of Norwex - helping others create Safe Havens and offering a fantastic business opportunity that has the potential to be life changing in so many ways. There were times when I felt like giving up, and it didn’t seem like our promotion was going to happen. But I just had to think about my “why”! Building my Norwex business gives me CHOICES! It means I am able to stay home with my kids while they are little and I can choose if and when I return to working for someone else. I can give and help others who are less fortunate then me and I’m helping those in my Team reach their goals. I also discovered that it wasn’t all about the outcome, but about the journey and how much we have stepped outside our comfort zone and grown as a result. I knew that regardless of the outcome, our Team would be stronger! I have an AMAZING Team! I’m looking forward to being able to continue to guide them and help them build their Teams and reach their goals. I am also excited to be able to rub shoulders and learn from other Senior Leaders. And of course, putting Maitland on the Norwex map and finally having some red in my wardrobe! Tania Ford, Senior Executive Sales Leader, New South Wales 18 Get To Know Your Leaders . Tania Ford
