what it was doing to my body!  I had tried countless
medications and every other single cleanser and acne
zapper on the shelves, nothing worked, or it worked
temporarily and then my skin became immune to it,
and it came back worse! So I had nothing to lose by
trying this cloth. I cleansed my face that night, with
my normal cleanser, without the cloth, then rinsed it
off. Then I used my free Body Cloth, just with water,
and the makeup that had been on my face came off
on the cloth, even after I had already washed my face
with cleanser,  what an eye opener that was!  All those
years, the hundreds of dollars, the products I was using
hadn’t even been washing my face!!! I continued using
that cloth, and, after 10 days, my skin was clear! I could
hardly believe it, and even ventured to the supermarket
without makeup on, and bumped into just about every
single person I knew! But you know what? They all
asked “what have you done to your skin??” My anxiety
just HAD to take the back seat, because this product
was too good not to share.
What do you do to  keep growing and expanding
your own personal development.
Sometimes in this job, you can feel a little alone, despite
the brilliant support networks Norwex has in place, so I
believe it is critical to ALWAYS keep your mind focused
on first, your why, and then what your immediate goal
is.  Sure, it’s easy to sit back and say, this isn’t working,
I give up.  But you know what, ANYONE can give up, it
takes a special person to keep going, even when you
aren’t sure what your next step is going to be.  Your
“why” is a great reflection of how far you’ve come,
because your why may also have changed over the
course of your journey. One thing that I have had to
remember along the way, and I try to remind my Team
of this, is that while I wanted to achieve Africa this Go
For The Goal year, and the promise of taking my son
along kept me accountable, Amanda, (for example) may
be just as thrilled to earn the beautiful umbrella.  I’ve
had to try and switch off from where others are and just
focus on how I’m going to reach MY goal.  When I have
felt stuck, there are so many resources available; from
webinars, inspiring Leader testimonies, and having a
Cath Bentley to regularly throw you out of your comfort
zone tends to help!  To keep growing and expanding,
my why gets revisited frequently, and THIS is a resource
you can access anywhere, at anytime.
What do you do to encourage your Team to achieve
their own dreams and goals?
I’m very blessed to have a Team who are very driven
and very supportive of each other.  Encouragement
and recognition go an extremely long way and
everyone loves to feel validated.  Think back to a time
when someone has encouraged you, or recognised
something you’ve done, did that make you want
to strive even higher?  I’ll bet it did.  I also find that
setting people goals that push them a little out of their
comfort zone creates benefits for everyone.  It gives
more confidence to Team members and when they feel
confident, they feel comfortable to give advice and help
other Team members out.  This creates a very successful
Team culture  and is great for Team relationship
building.  Plus, it is those who are willing to step out of
their comfort zone who most often become the Leaders
within your Team.
Where would you like to be in 1 year and then in 5
years time?  What are your long term goals?
Upcoming goals… I’ve only just recovered from ticking
off my two major ones at the end of last month within
days of each other!  However, it’s one foot in front of the
other and this time next year, I would love to have seen
our Team grow by at least 100, which would situate us
at somewhere around the 300 mark, that’s at the very
least!  I would also love to have developed another
Executive Sales Leader, three Sales Leaders and six Team
Leaders, you can now hold me accountable!  Five years,
I would love to have just earnt a Black Jacket, seriously,
who wouldn’t?  Why stop now?  If your dreams don’t
scare you, they aren’t big enough!  But at the end of the
day, if I can continue sharing our brilliant products and
guiding others to do the same, then I’m helping our
Promise for a Brighter Future.
