It wasn’t until Norwex came into my life that I finally
felt I’d found my purpose! It wasn’t obvious to start
with though, I found myself telling anyone and
everyone about Norwex and the butter on the mirror!
After I realised hardly any of my friends knew about
Norwex and they were all willing to have demos
based on what I had told them I saw an opportunity.
I set out to do just 10 parties that year to help pay
for Maya’s (my daughter’s) school fees as we had just
moved her to a private school. And it’s fair to say I
have never looked back!
The biggest recommendation I can give is to
attend as much training as you possibly can. There
has never been a training session, a phone call or
an event where I haven’t left with information in
order to improve some aspect of myself and/or my
business! I would have to say that attending National
Conference in 2015 was just the biggest shift and
incredibly life changing. The guest speakers you
are privy to not only help with your business but
your entire outlook on life! And it’s an opportunity
to have so much fun! It’s now a highlight of my
calendar, together with the Go For The Goal trips and
Leadership Conference, we are just so lucky!
I feel most connected with the future that Norwex
is helping us deliver. With the work that we do we
really will be leaving the planet in a better place. And
one of the most obvious but most important things
is removing those harsh chemicals - this is extremely
important to our family given we had our son
diagnosed with ADHD and OCD and unfortunately
medicated at the tender age of 4. We worked hard for
other solutions and much like Norwex, we stumbled
across a course that helped us remove additives
and preservatives from his diet. This was the key to
his behavioural issues. Thank goodness he was only
medicated for 5 months and not a lifetime we were
preparing for. I remember Amy Cadora’s presentation
at National Conference last year and the terrible
connection between health and chemicals in food as
well as in the home, the tears were certainly flowing
in the front seat that day!
I thrive being a Leader. I love working with others that
are as passionate as I am. The camaraderie and all
working together towards the same goal leaves you
with such a feeling of pride and satisfaction!
I think one of the funniest stories I have is when the
guests and I were all in the long skinny bathroom
doing the demo. We had to go past the toilet and it
was almost combined - the little man of the house
decided he needed to use the toilet and none of us
could escape without going past him so we were
essentially trapped with the smell. The Host was left
running to the other end of the house as I was calling
out instructions describing the odour eliminator!
Every single guest bought it that day!
I don’t think going to Senior Leader’s Retreat has
quite sunk in yet! I can’t believe I get to go and spend
time with such an elite group of inspirational women!
I literally hang off every word and often quote things
these amazing Leaders say. I’m just in awe. The most
exciting thing is I no longer have to wish that one day
I could go along too. I have always had major ‘FOMO’
(fear of missing out) happening whenever there was
information I wasn’t privy to! I am just so excited
for the future and the future of our Team with this
fabulous Company!
