After studying the difference between realistic and abstract artworks , Porter painted an abstract artwork using black paint . Then he used the primary colors and white to mix up colors to paint in his design .
Krystal Nnadi , 4th Grade “ Watercolor Landscape ”
After studying landscape artworks and how to draw a landscape with proper perspective , Krystal chose to use watercolors to paint her landscape artwork .
Karissa Robles , 5th Grade “ Pop Can Portraits ”
Karissa used a flattened aluminum can to create a portrait of an owl in the style of contemporary artist Didier Triglia . She also designed a background for her pop can portrait by painting onto a piece of cardboard .
