“Winter Tree”
Joshua created a snowy
painted paper and used it to
create the ground. Then he
mixed yellow and blue paint
to make green and painted
his tree. Finally, he used white
paint to add snow in the sky
and on the tree and ground.
Caden Samaripa, 3rd Grade
“Abstract Loom Painting and Circle
Weaving”
Caden started this project by painting colorful concentric
circles with overlapping patterns onto a paper plate. Next, he
learned how to set up the yarn on his plate so that it would
be a loom to use to create a weaving. Finally, he created a
weaving on his circle loom.

After studying Pop artist, James Rizzi, who made fun
and colorful cityscape artworks, Jordan drew and
painted his own cityscape.
