LEARNING COMMONS Opening this fall, the Lizzie Curtis Elementary library welcomed students into an inviting space designed with 21st Century learners in mind.  The open concept library encourages collaboration through the use of movable furniture that can be rearranged to meet specific needs.   TECHNOLOGY Students had the opportunity to complete a digital breakout using their knowledge of nonfiction text structures.  Working together in small groups, they had to solve puzzles and gather clues in order to "break out".
