T
horough quality assurance and
testing is built into the manufacture of
all Servatron parts and products. Their
3-D automated optical inspection
(AOI) equipment enables them to ver-
ify a very large volume of PCBs with
smaller components than ever before
and provides unprecedented precision
and quality control.
To test for defects in surface mount
technology parts, Servatron uses
Solder Paste Inspection (SPI), which
rapidly identifies any imperfect solder
volume or alignment variations. SPI
significantly improves print quality
and yield — assuring the efficient
production of high quality, high per-
forming PCBs while controlling costs
related to rework.

Servatron has also implemented production part approval process (PPAP), which
improves communication and the approval of production designs and processes
between Servatron and its customers before, during, and after the manufacture of
products. Through this process, parts are more consistently reproduced at stated
production rates, two critical components in aerospace manufacturing.
