“ A big part of PNDC is making government introductions and connecting smaller suppliers and more prominent entities .” Ryser added , “ PNDC is also helping military agencies solve problems , by connecting them with innovative Northwest companies . These companies can also benefit from R & D funding available through Department of Defense agencies .”

She said that they get calls from member companies asking for help filling supply chain gaps , “ If they exist in the Northwest , we track them down and make this connection .”
PNDC Goes to London
DSEI is drawing a mixed group of member companies . Ryser said one company knocks illegal drones out of the sky ; another is Altek Inc . of Liberty Lake , Washington . Ryser said ,
“ Altek can do just about anything in commercial aerospace and the space industry .” Other companies scheduled to attend DSEI include an artificial intelligence and tactical gear company .

These conferences are a joint effort between PNDC , Washington Department of Commerce , and Business Oregon . There are folks with the commerce departments that also offer services to set up private meetings with key potential buyers .
Ryser also said that the event is generally great for brand building for the Pacific Northwest . She noted that PNDC member businesses and government entities want to see more prime contractors here hiring regional companies . In 2022 , another DSEI is occurring in Japan for the Asian market .
Yates said that Gladiator Technologies has an excellent worldwide network for the business , but “ We ’ d like to pick up Poland and meet Tier 1 primes .” He also said that he serves in several professional roles with PNDC by being on the board , executive committee , and serves as chair of the Advocacy Committee .
