All of our products are commercial and applications include : unmanned systems ; infrared camera systems ; missiles and munitions ; ground vehicles ,” he added , “ Many applications require products like ours .” He said they don ’ t work in commercial aerospace but do more work in rail and industrial applications .
DH Sutherland currently has 17 employees and is expanding . Crouse said , “ PNDC has been extremely helpful in providing support with service providers . As a small business , the opportunity to apply for funding has been beneficial ,” he said about the federal grant money as well as the discount on the DSEI booth in London . He added , “ They ’ ve told us about a variety of grants to support the exporting of products and needed cybersecurity compliance , which has been extremely beneficial .”
PNDC is a membership-based organization with 300 members ; they continue to support Pacific Northwest businesses in defense and national security sales to expand their U . S . base as they also increase their reach internationally .
