Nelson added that the program could be increased depending upon customer need , “ We can increase the level of fidelity of analysis for where they are in the program .”

Nelson added that their role is that of consultant , providing valuable services and assessments along with education . They want to be a part of the “ A ” team with a customer to ensure that when they are ready to design the part , they can help . Also , as there are learnings in a project , TLG is there to help the customer understand the assessments and data .
Muenzberg expanded , “ If the FAA says the aircraft needs to do A , B , and C , you need to be able to conduct those assessments .
If you are the engineer designing the wing skins , you need to know how much force or pressure will be on the wings . The loads ’ engineers can conduct the analysis , and you need to see the load on a specific maneuver .
When creating the models , you need to understand aerodynamics , structures , engine forces , control surfaces ( and control laws on airplanes ), and with landing gear — you need to understand all of this when making physics-based models .”
He said for their customers , they will want to bring in experts , like TLG , to expand their businesses further .
The company has expanded in each marketplace . Lind said they have tripled the number of customers that they are serving .
He noted that in their marketplace “ We have so many new customers we are just getting started with .” He added that they had 35 engineers three years ago — now they have upwards of 48 engineers .
“ We have a growing organization ,” Lind said . He added that they have now moved into noncommercial airplane marketplaces . “ It has been an exciting time .
For us , we see the aerospace market expanding rapidly , eVTOL , modifications market , space — so much going on .”
Nelson added that with a fast-growing company there have been additional opportunities . “ We create simulations , structural , aerodynamic — they are math tools ( bread and butter tools ) — we create a model of the airplane with many factors .”
They develop models to have a good representation and they put the aircraft through several conditions .
