CHASING
A DREAM

Through the years of supporting the aerospace community with direct and contingent labor resources , one dreams of an opportunity to make history . In the fall of 2009 , I experienced just that – the historical arrival of the B787 . Supporting the B787 program with multiple suppliers was a team effort that I was honored to be a part of . With a supply chain stretching the globe and an airplane containing over two million parts , preparing for the B787 to take flight was nothing short of a monumental task . It took a wide community of aerospace professionals working together to make it all happen . Personally , I consider the aerospace community a family . Like many families , we gather to celebrate events and there was no greater aerospace event than that in the fall of 2009 .

Allow me to take you back to December 15th 2009 . There was a tangible anticipation and excitement in the air . Crowds gathered and lined Paine Field in Everett , Washington with attendees from all around the world . Every viewing spot was taken — standing room only .
