W
e have hand distributed over 1500
magazines at these networking events, in
addition to the 4400+ we already mail across
the US. In several cases, by knowing the
right people, we have been able to provide
referrals to others looking for help — this is
very satisfying to us, helping to make these
connections. By your word of mouth and
our social media outreach, we have had over
7500 readers from around the world visit the
magazine online.
Supporting the existing industry is one
thing; supporting its future is yet another.
To that end, we have become a sponsor of
the Aerospace Joint Apprenticeship Com-
mittee (AJAC) to help further the future
aerospace workforce that will be needed to
maintain our competitive edge in this sky-
rocketing industry (pun intended).
Northwest Aerospace News Magazine was
thrilled to host our first “magazine release
party” — for the release of issue #2 — as an
open networking event to all aerospace com-
panies who wished to join us. It was a fun
evening where we enjoyed both the business
side of aerospace as well as the historic
side. We held our event at the Honor Point
Museum at Felts Field in Spokane, amazing-
ly, the oldest continuing operational airport
in the United States! By the time you read
this we will have had our 2nd release party
in Liberty Lake, Washington, for the release
of this issue. We thank all who attend, and
we look forward to seeing you at our next
release party for issue #4 at the Nexus Hotel,
in Seattle, Washington, on August 2nd.
We wish to thank all of the new friends we
have made, as well as the many long-time
friends who support our efforts. We look
forward to meeting new partners who share
our vision in support of this great region, our
exceptional companies, and the people who
live and work here.
To your success,
Dean
