Connecting the Dots
Northwest Aerospace News, More Than Just a Magazine
From the beginning, we have hoped that the concept of sharing the stories of the aerospace industry’ s most important yet least reported sector— the Tier 2, 3 and even Tier 4 suppliers— would be embraced by the industry. We could not have expected the enthusiastic reception we have received!
Our mission to write about and promote key suppliers to the industry has lead us to meet many organized aerospace clusters sharing the same goal. By networking with these excellent groups and meeting the many people in their membership, we have learned that the aerospace suppliers living and working in the Pacific Northwest represent not only the best practices of the industry, but also the seeds of innovation and its future as well.
In our ongoing efforts to be supportive, we have become members of and in several cases sponsors of: Pacific Northwest Aerospace Alliance( PNAA); Inland Northwest Aerospace Consortium( INWAC); Idaho Aerospace Alliance( IDAA); Pacific Northwest Defense Coalition( PNDC); Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International( AU- VSI); Oregon Aviation Industries( ORAVI); and Aerospace Futures Alliance( AFA). As you can see in several of the accompanying photos, we have participated in their meetings and conferences with the purpose of being an entity that can help“ connect the dots.”
