Satys
Satys, based in the south of France and started
in 1986, specializes in aircraft painting,
sealing, manufacturing interiors, cabling and
wiring assemblies for the energy, medical,
railway and aerospace industries. With 3200
employees in 14 countries, Satys provides
partnership and services to many OEM and
MRO companies in aerospace. The first U.S.
location, Satys USA, was founded in 2017,
after winning the commercial paint bid from
Boeing in Portland.
Francisco Sanchez has more than 12 years’
experience managing paint operation for
Satys to different OEMs and MROs in Europe
(Airbus, Airbus Defense & Space and
ALITALIA). Today he is the General Manager
of SATYS USA, located at the Portland
International Airport area and supervising
a 140-person staff for the painting of all
modern exteriors, turning complete projects
for Boeing.

airframe manufacturing, to textiles, metals
casting, leading-edge electronics manufacturing,
to rotorcraft, unmanned vehicles and
more.
