Their customer base includes OEMs in commercial aerospace , defense aerospace , and space . Klinger IGI produces product for aerospace Tier 1s and primes to support components and assemblies . Some of the custom parts that Klinger IGI produces will perform critical functions like thermal interface , EMI / RFI shielding , vibration and acoustic dampening , and gasketing and sealing . These parts are often found in aerospace electronic components , cabin and cockpit assemblies , fuel and hydraulic systems , and avionics .
