“ Last year marked a 2.6 percent rise in the cost of tuition , and there is the high cost of living in our region that especially impacts low-income families . We call this the ‘ true cost ’ of going to college . For students who work and support their families , this creates added financial barriers . . . Your support ensures that our economic recovery includes all students and lifts all communities toward a healthier future .”

PNAA SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
For 12 years , PNAA has granted scholarships to students in participating aerospace programs . Eligible students are granted scholarships of a minimum of $ 1,000 . The program has grown substantially since its inception , and we were able to award $ 28,330 in scholarships at PNAA ’ s ADVANCE 2022 Aerospace Conference .
2022 was our first year of holding a silent and live auction at the ADVANCE Conference and it was a huge success raising over $ 3,500 . We are planning to bring that back this year and hope to raise an additional $ 5,000 .
KARL FAGAN MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
The Karl Fagan Memorial Scholarship was established to honor the life of PNAA board member , Karl Fagan . Karl ' s commitment to PNAA ' s mission and passion for aerospace were surpassed only by his love for family and friends . The scholarship is awarded annually to a student pursuing an aerospace education at the university level . Each year , PNAA joins other contributors by pledging $ 2,500 to this scholarship .
