To expand and diversify the aviation workforce, Boeing recently gave 22 highly accomplished students generous scholarships as part of a strategic effort to increase enrollment num- bers among women, minorities, military veterans, and their depen- dents. This program facilitates de- gree offerings to enhance students and their family members’ current scope of responsibilities or career path direction by providing access to high-quality programming and instruction through Embry-Riddle’s Worldwide campus. Daniel Hammes, Embry-Riddle’s Seattle and Tacoma campus director asserts, “We have been an integral part of the aviation industry in the North- west for over 30 years.
