“Embry-Riddle has a great reputation and a fantastic online
program. The school offers many programs that are not all
centered around aviation. I have spent over 30 years in the
airline industry, and I was looking for a program that would
help me become a more complete leader for my airline. The
master’s in leadership was the perfect program for me.”
“The program gave me the ability to go to school while I
was working a full-time job in a leadership role with my
airline.”
~ John Hornibrook, M.S. in Leadership
E
mbry-Riddle’s intentional
approach to ensuring every student’s
successful fulfillment of their aero-
space education goals is one of the
reasons the institution has achieved
such acclaim. The university is com-
mitted to supporting students through
thoughtful programs like their Path-
ways to Success for freshman students.
This program offers scholarships and
affordable options for students and a
unique opportunity to develop face-to-
face relationships with faculty, staff,
and peers. Pathways to Success helps
students complete their degree on time
and pursue career opportunities in their
chosen field. Among the six campus
locations that participate in this pro-
gram is their Seattle location.

The university has also estab-
lished a longstanding partnership
with Boeing through its Learning
Together Program. To expand and
diversify the aviation workforce,
Boeing recently gave 22 highly
accomplished students generous
scholarships as part of a strategic
effort to increase enrollment num-
bers among women, minorities,
military veterans, and their depen-
dents. This program facilitates de-
gree offerings to enhance students
and their family members’ current
scope of responsibilities or career
path direction by providing access
to high-quality programming and
instruction through Embry-Riddle’s
Worldwide campus.
Daniel Hammes, Embry-Riddle’s
Seattle and Tacoma campus director
asserts, “We have been an integral part
of the aviation industry in the North-
west for over 30 years. We educate
the next generation of aviation leaders
at our military and civilian locations.
Our students bring a variety of avia-
tion knowledge and experience to the
learning environment. We are one of the
largest providers of education for the
military, veterans, and aviation profes-
sionals with on-site classrooms, online
instruction, and video conferencing.
Our students are highly motivated and
passionate about their education and
achieve great things in their professional
and educational careers. They are proud
to be Embry-Riddle Eagles.”
