It ’ s a family photo taken high in the sky : a KC-46A Pegasus refueling a P-8A Poseidon . Both airplanes , which are assembled in Washington State ’ s Puget Sound area , recently met for receiver certification testing out of Edwards Air Force base .
“ This refueling effort was really exciting for the Puget Sound as we have many team members who support both programs ,” said Stu Voboril , P-8 vice president and program manager , “ Great teamwork all around .”
