Team Jamco (left to right) Jeremy Hunter, Graham Taylor, Kristi Dutson and David Barrat I am not sure how many marriages there were during the summit but there was a whole lot of dating! People were not there to do an elevator pitch on their company — they came to listen and participate. I have spent 28 years in commercial aerospace manufacturing, with the bulk of it focused on interiors and seating aspects of the business. I walked out of the RedCabin event with a fresh exhilaration of new knowledge and a fascinating anticipation, having witnessed new brainstormed developments that will inevita- bly change the industry we know today … for the better. Ms. Wick was quick to give thanks to Boeing for hosting the event, as well as giving much credit to her event spon- sors Beadlight, NORDAM and Stratasys; her event partners Sekisui, Tapis and Teague; and media partners Aircraft Interiors International and Northwest Aerospace News. She also praised her partners at the two previous summits in Abu Dhabi and Hamburg. It was very clear that her vision has found an enthusiastic reception and that her “platform” of collaborative innovation might be a welcome vehicle of change for the commercial aircraft interiors industry. May- be Elaine might get that cookie after all. 38 NORTHWEST AEROSPACE NEWS Alessandro Braca, CEO Optimares RedCabin Potsdamer Str. 182 c/o Rent24 10783 Berlin Email: [email protected] Phone: +49 30 99 40 489 10
