hen most of us think of air travel, it is usually a case of envisioning the “haves and the have-nots.” There is luxurious
business and first class — with lie-down seats, great food, personal attention from the flight attendants and big screen enter-
tainment. Then there is the sardine-like mindset of “stuff as many people into economy as you can” and give them a salty bag
of peanuts and a small drink of soda. I am reminded of this, albeit magnified scenario, from an episode of the sitcom Seinfeld,
when Jerry and Elaine were separated with Jerry in first class and Elaine in coach. Jerry was lavished with luxury, sitting next
to a super model, while Elaine’s trip was an experience from travel hell that culminated in a fight just to get a cookie.
