This came on the heels of another
Lynnwood site expansion. In 2015, the
company had announced that due to
increased orders for fuel-flow systems
for commercial airliners, it was expanding
its manufacturing and testing
capacities at the site, which meant
adding facilities to do high-temperature
and high-altitude simulations on
fuel-flow systems.
Crane provides fuel-flow meters for
both the CFM LEAP and Pratt &
Whitney Pure Power engines, meaning
it’s on both Boeing and Airbus’
top-selling single-aisle jets.
