This arrangement continued until 1996, when Boeing altered
their buying strategy. Stoddard International adapted to
these changes and brought their skills to the open aerospace
marketplace and began to offer a variety of marketable
capabilities.
In December of 2007 VP of Operations Dave Ghosn came
on board. Hamilton states,
“Dave’s experience, numerous industry
contacts and depth of knowledge have been
the catalyst for much of our current success.”
Dave Ghosn recalls his first days at Stoddard, “After our initial in-
troduction, Bruce and I dreamed of expansion. Once we came to
play together, building the foundation seemed straightforward.
Personnel are the most vital part of any company, so we started
there. Most of the team at that time had been loyal and strong
workers, so we needed to take care of them and be able to attract
more of what we call ‘A-team’ players. We upgraded the health
plan, added a dental plan and created a retirement savings plan.
“The key was expanding our customer base, and after freshening
up our company logo and website, we started to explore our
options.
