Presque Isle to Caribou on the Aroostook River
This is a 14 mile trip that will take about 5 hours to complete.
The water is relatively fl at with small rips and a great stretch for
beginners. Possibility to see wildlife including eagles and moose.
Put in at Presque Isle at the Department of Inland Fisheries and
Wildlife Landing on the Reach Rd., MAG 65 D1. The river will
take you to Caribou through forested countryside and farmlands.
Caution: Make sure to take out at the Caribou public boat landing
on the left before the plant and dam, MAG 65 B1.
