Children’s Performing Arts: Not Your
Typical Community Theater Program!
Children’s Performing Arts specializes
in theater education for students up
to age 18. Its mission is to provide
a platform to explore the world of
artistic expression for children and
their community by providing quality
educational, theatrical experiences,
which enhance children’s self-
confidence, personal growth, group
collaboration skills and community
partnerships.
Year round programming includes
four main stage productions, as well
as multiple workshops, classes and
camps. Theatrical, dance and musical
instruction allows children to develop
skills in music, theater, visual arts and
life.
ALL children who register are able to
participate. Every student has a part
to perform at their level of comfort in
a supportive environment. Working

Lakeshore Players Theatre: in White
Bear Lake since 1953
Founded in 1953 in White Bear
Lake, Lakeshore Players Theatre has
continuously operated as a community
theater. In April 2018, Lakeshore began
a new era, operating year-round in the
new Hanifl Performing Arts Center.
Its beautiful new home is truly a gift
from thousands of residents from
White Bear Lake and the surrounding
region … residents who generously
contributed to Lakeshore’s capital and
growth campaigns. For this, the theatre
administration is truly grateful.
Hanifl Per
Lakeshore Players is a true community
theatre with a small, dedicated staff
who depend on the many volunteers
who help put together every show.
For every production, volunteers fill
vital roles behind the scenes, on the
stage, and in the house. Check out
the many opportunities to be involved
(on following website). No experience
necessary and it’s fun!
Check out our upcoming performances
on the main stage, in the Lakeshore
Kids & Family Theatre series, and our
educational programs. Hopefully, you
will find something that interests you,
and you’ll become part of the ever-
growing Lakeshore community. Thank
you!
