The VHEDC couldn’ t do the great work we do in the community without the support of our strategic partners. We want to thank the Vandais Heights Lions Club and the Vadnais Heights Area Community Foundation( VHACF) for the incredible contributions they make.
The Vadnais Heights Lions Club celebrates 45 years of impactful community service and global outreach in 2025. Since its founding in 1980, the club has been a vital part of our community, supporting local needs and contributing to worldwide initiatives.
With the creation of the Vadnais Heights Lions Club Foundation in 2013, the organization expanded its reach, leveraging financial support and handson service to benefit more people.
Signature Events and Activities The club is renowned for its recurring events and community programs, including:
• Waffle Breakfasts( April and October): A beloved tradition bringing the community together.
• Holiday Toys, Food, and Funds Drive: Essential support for families during the holiday season.
• Monthly Support for the Vadnais Heights Area Community Food Program: Aiding a local food security initiative active since 1984.
• Eyeglass and Hearing Aid Recycling: Helping vision-and-hearing-impaired individuals globally.
• KidSight Vision Screenings: Early detection of vision issues in children.
• Annual Scholarships for High School Graduates: Investing in future community leaders.
• Annual Bell Ringing for Salvation Army: 2025 will be our 20th consecutive year supporting this organization and its missions.
• Partnership with our City: In 2024 we partnered with the City of Vadnais Heights by making significant contributions to the City’ s two tree programs. These programs aim to enhance the local environment and promote urban forestry, which will benefit many for years to come.
