If you’re growing your business
(or you’re a banker helping a small business expand),
It’s time to think about an
SBA 504 loan from SPEDCO.
“It was a significant undertaking. We
took a large cross section of companies
in the Vadnais Heights area, and as
board members set up teams to go
out and interview business owners.
Our goal was to find out what their
concerns were, what their needs were.
Then, with the help of a program at
the University of Minnesota Extension
Service, we evaluated all the responses
and followed up on key issues.”
Gustafson is also very involved
in the community. Her company
provides annual grants to entities
involved in providing loans and
technical assistance to underserved
communities. She and her co-workers
also volunteer at Feed My Starving
Children.
Financing for land, buildings or equipment.
Borrowers save cash - as little as 10% down.
Constant payments - 10, 20 & 25 year terms.

Scott Haupt, Vice President
2020 marks Wisconsin native Scott
Haupt’s fourth year on the Board of
Directors for VHEDC. He is looking
forward to serving on the Executive
Committee of the organization this
year as Vice President, and being
part of the strategic planning to help
continue the organization’s upward
trend in making a difference in the
Northeast Metro business community.
Haupt’s initial exposure with the
organization started six years ago when
he attended the Annual Dinner and
participated in the VHEDC golf outing
with SEH colleagues. A few years later,
he was asked to join the Board when
a colleague’s term on the Board of
Directors ended.
“I thought it would be a great
opportunity to connect with others
and get involved in the local business
community. Being involved in the
VHEDC has also further strengthened
