Northbrook School District 27 KSF 1: OUTSTANDING STUDENT PERFORMANCE Student performance is an important indicator of success. In District 27, we use mulitple assessments to monitor student learning and overall progress. The PARCC Assessments by the Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Career are required by the State of Illinois and are designed to measure students’ knowledge and skills outlined in the Common Core State Standards (CCSS.) Our student performance on the 2016 assessments remained strong. with our students scoring in the top 1% in the State. Students who earned a Level 4 or Level 5 met or exceeded grade-level standards. These charts show the percentage of students who scored a Level 4 or 5 on the assessments. District 27 had two times or more the percentage of students meeting/exceeding in comparison to the State.
