GREAT FALLS ARCHERY SHOP
T
he city of Great Falls is in a very unique location in Montana. This part of state is known as the
“Golden Triangle” because the high desert climate and soil are perfect for growing wheat and barley. We are surrounded by rolling plains, river breaks, and 4 major mountain chains. This also provides many opportunities for all types of big game hunting. Antelope, white-tail, mule deer, elk, moose,
bear, bighorn sheep, and mountain goats can all be hunted within an hour’s drive! What’s not to love
about Central Montana?
Not interested in hunting, but still love the sport of archery? We have you covered there, too. There
are 2 archery clubs in Great Falls, both with outdoor walking ranges. Each local club also hosts three 3D
shoots every summer. If you’re willing to brave the elements, and take a short drive, there are 3D events
within 100 miles of Great Falls starting in February (yes, we’ve shot in -2 temperatures!) and running
almost every weekend through mid-August.
