But while folding it all up , we recognise also that the course to navigate the living lab is not just following a straight line . In the messy reality , there is not a single point of time to say ‘ Go !’ or ‘ No Go ’. Experiments can originate and die in any given phase and step , and the different phases and steps can also overlap or run in parallel .
The setting of the living lab has to be flexible according to the rough limitations coming from outside , such as financial constraints . Comprehensive foresighting streaming from a combination between artificial and human intelligence is not the only sufficient navigation tool . But it is a start , and we hope with this strategy to encourage to hoist the canvas in the shores of Nordhavnen and ‘ daring ’ to sail the high seas of experimenting , come closer towards the safe harbour of sustainability .
