As Shabbat approaches we are happy to send you this update and
overview of our day today.
Every Kvutza visited the Israel Museum
and the Big Bambu' interactive sculpture.
The hanichim who took part in the
Jerusalem Etgar program served as the
guides and resources for their kvutzot, as
they enjoyed a guided tour on Tuesday,
and were able to point their haverim to
the areas of the museum they found most
compelling, including Modern Israeli Art,
Jewish Life, the Second Temple
Jerusalem Model, the Dead Sea Scrolls,
the Children's Exhibits, the Archaeology
Exhibit, the Sculpture Garden, and much
more.
At some time during the day, in the
context of our great desire to contribute
and take an active role in what is now
transpiring in Israel, the groups took part
in the following activities: Kvutzat Agnon
and Kvutzat Amichai visited the Mega
Supermarket and Rami Levy
Supermarket, and collected food and dry
goods donations from Erev Shabbat
shoppers. The donations will be sent to soldiers as well as to families in
need from the communities surrounding Gaza.

Shavuah tov! I thought you ought to know: at Shirah Chadashah today, I saw Gordon
and Dina (and gave them big hugs) and the entire Malkus family.
Also I finished my book so that's cool
We're off for the next day--climbing Masada and sleeping with the Bedouins.
